THE WHAT

THE WHAT

Interra Media is a design and development studio serving clients across Northwest Arkansas. While the team’s client work continued to evolve, the old website no longer reflected who they were or how they worked. It felt generic, underdeveloped, and lacked personality. I helped lead a full site redesign to better communicate Interra’s value, visual identity, and service offering — all while keeping the structure clear and accessible for small business audiences.

THE WHY

THE WHY

Like many creative studios, Interra had put client work first and their own site on hold. But as the studio grew and onboarded new clients, the need for a stronger digital presence became clear. The goal was to create something simple but confident — a site that reflected Interra’s collaborative approach and made it easier for potential partners to understand the process and reach out.

The team also wanted a platform that felt more like them: welcoming, polished, and quietly strategic.

THE HOW

THE HOW

The redesign was built in WordPress with a focus on clarity, minimalism, and performance. I collaborated with the team to rethink both the design system and the messaging strategy.

Custom Divi Layouts: Built out clean, scroll-based sections using custom Divi modules, with careful attention to spacing, typography, and hierarchy to make the site feel open and trustworthy.

Refined Brand Voice: Helped shape content that feels approachable and clear, with just enough personality to stand out from other local agencies.

Updated Portfolio Structure: Designed a modular portfolio section that supports both full case studies and quick overviews, allowing for scalable storytelling as new work is added.

Interactive Cues and Motion: Introduced subtle hover states, soft fades, and scroll cues to add polish without overwhelming the experience.

Mobile Optimization and SEO Foundations: Ensured fast performance, smooth scaling, and better search indexing for local visibility.

The Result

The new Interra Media website immediately strengthened the studio’s digital presence. Within the first three months after launch, the site saw a 22% increase in overall traffic compared to the previous period.

New inquiries from small businesses and local organizations also increased, with many prospects noting that the site felt more professional and easier to navigate. The updated structure made it easier to direct potential clients to relevant work, explain services clearly, and set the tone for collaborative, well-scoped conversations.

Internally, the site has become a flexible tool for sharing work, publishing updates, and evolving the Interra brand over time. It’s built to scale — whether that means showcasing new projects, adding a blog, or refining service pages based on feedback.

Most importantly, the site now reflects who Interra is: a grounded, design-forward studio that balances creative thinking with practical results. It doesn’t just look better — it works better, and it helps the team show up with confidence.
